Intelligence Dynamics is a eld of research activi ties for the understanding and realization of intelli gence instead of symbolism that is the hallmark feature of conventional Arti cial Intelligence Recently many researchers in various elds pointed out problems of traditional A I and started new research approaches toward Intelligence These have been indepen dently developed in Brain Science Haruno et al Cognitive Science Pfeifer and Scheier Psychol ogy Reed Robotics and A I Asada et al Tani Our aim in proposing Intelligence Dynam ics is to make breakthroughs in the study of intelli gence by further integrating these activities over the various research elds The common features of these approaches are summarized as embodiment dy namics and constructive approach
